About me
A Bit About Taylor Blanchard
Hi, my name is Taylor Blanchard. I enjoy hunting different animals all over the world. At age 11, I went bear hunting in Wisconsin with my parents, Robb and Amy. I met many different people at bear camp and enjoyed every second of it! I missed a big 200 pound black bear but still enjoyed being there.

Taylor's hunting adventures
Deer hunting
2015
It was getting late in the evening, I was tired and waiting to go home... Sitting against a tree at age 10, I never thought a deer would come out. After 5 minutes, IÂ heard the sound of trees hitting something and foot steps crunching against the ground . I looked to my side and saw a small but decent doe, I slowly put my 20 gage on my hunting sticks, the deer walked right in front of us and stopped. This could be my first deer ever, I thought as I lined my scope up with where my dad told me to shoot it. I shot and with that a loud boom went off! We saw blood after waiting awhile and finally getting up. A big drop off was in front of me and as I started thinking the deer had dropped off the edge, there she was, a perfect little doe for a tall but small 10 year old girl.
Turkey hunting
2017
After sleeping on my dads shoulder, I woke up to a gobble a few yards away.. I knew the turkey was close. After two minutes a turkey walked by, I lined my scope up with the turkey's head, ready for it to turn. As soon as I shot, the turkey turned his head. Not a great shot since he moved but he was still a gonner. At age 11 my second turkey had been harvested.
Buck hunting
2016
As we walked out into some Iowa Timber, I was ready and pumped up since it was opening day of deer season. About an hour or so after we walked out.. A big 11 point buck with a droptine slowly stood up (we think he had been there the whole time and  we didn't know it ). I lined the red  dot up with the deer and shot, the deer went crazy! When we found the deer he was dead, laying against a tree with a shattered leg from slamming into the tree.
